Market America Inc Insider Review

You are thinking about getting involved with Market  America  Inc and are doing your due diligence. The program looks promising. Then you start to notice a ton of “marketing  America  scam” results on the search engines. Should you be concerned? Is Market  America  on the up-and-up or should you avoid it?

According to the Market  America  Inc website, the company was founded in 1992 by JR Ridinger and his wife Loren Ashley. The company specializes in the retail sale of mostly consumable health and beauty products. Marketing is primarily internet based and through a network marketing distribution model. Over 3 billion dollars of products have been shipped from their state-of-the-art Greensboro, NC warehouse facilities, and employs over 500 people globally with international operations in the United States, Australia, Canada, Hong Kong and Taiwan.

“Market  America  Scam” of Often Contrived

Based on this evidence alone, it becomes pretty obvious those screaming Market  America  scam must have a secret agenda for making such a claim. In many cases, these types of articles are nothing more than an actual “Market  America  Review” cleverly disguised with an alarming headline designed to entice you to take a closer look. The author then quickly changes course and assures you the Market  America  Inc opportunity is proven model to improve your financial situation, but if you join the author’s team… you’ll be even that much closer to success.

Company records indicate there are over 180,00 active “Unfrancise Business Owners” or distributors worldwide. Over one billion dollars in retail commissions have been paid out and over two billion dollars have been earned by distributors over time. Of course, not every distributor who has joined the company has made a profit. But success in building any business is based entirely on the amount of effort each individual put into growing his or her own business. So you may find a few disgruntled distributors claiming Market  America  is a scam but you have to take these reports with a grain of salt and consider the source.

Like most network marketing opportunities, Market  America  Inc has a minimum monthly product purchase requirement in place to qualify your business to accumulate and receive commissions. To receive a full share, you must purchase 200BV worth of the product. BV (Business Volume) is approximately 80 percent for every wholesale 1 dollar you spend. You can earn commissions on all retail product sold and also a commission for BV accumulated by you and your team. The compensation plan is what is commonly referred to as a binary plan where you build one team split into two parts. You earn commissions when certain volume requirements are met.

The Best Defense is a Good Offense

It is pretty obvious Market  America  Inc is a legitimate company with great products, worldwide distribution and a fair compensation plan. But that does not mean the opportunity is right for you and your family.

Despite what you may have read from your potential sponsor or upline leader, building a profitable network marketing business requires presenting your products, services and opportunity to massive numbers of new people on a consistent basis over an extended period of time. The products will not sell themselves. They must be presented to potential buyers. And no one will be interested in joining you in your business unless you let them know about.

So the question begs: How do you intend to advertise, market and promote your new business? Once you have introduced the product and opportunity to family, friends and co-workers… then what? Do you have any sales and marketing experience? Do you know how to effectively market the company-replicated site? How will you drive potential customer and prospects to the online store? These are all question much more important to answer than spending time digging deeper into the pseudo “Market  America  Scam” issue. Wouldn’t you agree?
